Our History
202 Vodka is an emerging company in the craft spirits industry offering a premium Vodka experience for the Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) market. 202 Vodka uses a proprietary recipe to create a smooth, lightly flavored drink.
Our passion for distilled spirits was sparked by our founder's my late grandfather’s homemade moonshine which led to long nights of fellowship in his native neighborhood of Southeast DC. We spent a few summers in rural Southern Virginia where I listen to whispers of grandfather “secret recipe,” as being super smooth. After 20 years, I decided to develop a vodka that was smooth to your taste buds and competitively priced to other vodka companies.
The mission of this company is to encourage and promote the legal consumption of alcohol while adhering to laws and emphasizing the social need for responsible consumption.
